Ready for round 3 of Easy Christmas Gifts? As usual, the title for each category will link to it’s list on Sew Mama Sew and the link for the project takes you directly to the site with the tutorial for my project pick.  I’ll be showing several different options from Amazon under each category labeled “My Amazon Picks”.  Still no mermaid tails but I still have time!  There are a couple on this list that I may not want to part with!  There are also two items which are Christmas decor.  I’m a little iffy about giving decorations as a gift, but some people may be okay with it!

Table Runners

Let me just say, table runners are not something I usually use.  This year I’ve been trying new things so, my pick for this category is the Heartbeat Table Runner from Nancy Zieman.  This is only the finished top and I still need to quilt it.  It’s quite long and wide, so be sure to measure your table before making one.

This is my current table runner, which is just a cut piece of decorative burlap and burlap ribbon.  Easy peasy!  Please ignore the boxes in the picture!  I’ve been saving them to wrap Christmas presents. 🙂

Easy Gifts to Ship

I picked the Quinoa Chocolate Bark from Erin at Well Plated for this category.  I don’t know how easy it really is to ship chocolate, but I wanted to try this recipe.  It was delicious and I’ll be making more!

Tip ~> When the quinoa starts popping it can make a mess.  Keep a lid on hand to cover the pan until it’s done.

Gifts for the Girl Boss

I chose the Rolled Hem Tassel Wrap from Purl Soho for this category.  For some reason I had a fairly long piece of white gauze in my fabric collection.  I folded mine in half and sewed the sides together with the machine.  Instead of tassels, I added some eyelash yarn with a small zig-zag stitch.  I will have a hard time parting with this!

I would like to recommend Inkwell Press for “girl boss” gifts.  They have a wonderful selection of office supplies and planners.  Click on my link and you’ll get a code for $10 off a $50 purchase.  I’ll also earn points as part of they’re referral program if you make a purchase using my code.  I have some of their items on my wish list!

Gifts for the Dapper Gentleman

These Flannel Hand Warmers from Sarah at Sadie Seasongoods are perfect for hunters or football fans.  Just so long as they have access to a microwave first!  Super simple sew!

Scrap Busters

I’ve made mug rugs before and I prefer the rectangular shape.  That way you have room for a snack!  The Mug Rugs from Nancy Zieman are even simpler to make if you’re in a hurry.  My mug rug is made from tiny scraps I randomly sewed together.  Add a coffee mug and fancy spoon and you’ve got a gift any coffee lover would love to have!

Gifts for Artists

My son is an artist, but I didn’t see anything on the list he would like.  Instead, I chose the Framed Cork Bulletin Board from Kris Jarrett at Driven by Decor.  I repurposed an old cork board with the generic plastic trim to make my bulletin board.  Chalk paint and copper spray paint spruced it right up!  This is one of my favorites!

Lacey Christmas

I need some new Christmas ornaments for my tree, so I chose the Lace Tree Ornament from Karen at Todolwen.  Since I have a ton of burlap, I used it to make the trees.  I just added a touch of gold for some sparkle and a fun paper clip for the hanger.  This was so easy and I will be making more!

That’s it for round 3!  There’s just one more round left and hopefully y’all are getting really inspired!  Have a marvelous Monday!

  1. So many good ideas. I love the idea of the quinoa chocolate. Another idea for something to do with my grands who are staying after Christmas. It looks like fun. Their dad is a cloud architect at Hershey. Their office has been moved to the original Hershey plant site next to Hershey Park. What fun!

    • That quinoa chocolate was really good! It was fun to watch them pop in the pan. It would be dangerous for me to live next to Hershey Park, ha ha! That sounds amazing!
