When you have a blog, a great way to make ends meet and help keep the blog running is through affiliates.  An affiliate is a company I (basically) advertise for on my blog.  Either with banners, links, or blog posts.  If you, the reader, decides to click on the banner/link and purchase something through one of my affiliate adds, I will receive a small commission.  It doesn’t make your price any different or affect your purchase in any way.  I do not partner with any affiliates that I have not personally purchased from or used their products/services.  You can see my Privacy Policy for more information.

I am very grateful for any purchases made through my links and appreciate your support of Teadoddles!

~>~> Want to Start a Blog? <~<~

I really didn’t know if I would like blogging when I began, but I really love it!  If you’re thinking of starting a blog or website, here are some links you might find helpful!

This is the hosting service I use for my website.  So far, I don’t have any complaints!  It was fairly easy to set up the website with all the tools they have to help.

This is a great place to find affiliates!  They are partnered with many companies and it’s really convenient to have multiple affiliates in one place.

This is what I use to edit all my pictures for the blog!  I started with the free service & soon moved up to the paid one for all the extra awesome features.

~> Amazon <~

Amazon is where I go when I’m looking for deals on every day things.  For example, my son uses a special shampoo (insert eye roll).  It is never in stock in the only store in town that sells it, but it’s always on Amazon!  I can also get a larger size for less money.  Since I have Amazon Prime, it ships for free and I can get in 2 days.  While I’m shopping, I just pick up a few other essentials and I’ve saved myself a trip to the store.  You can try it for 30 days and see if you like it.

One of my favorite apps is the Kindle Reading App.  It lets me have instant access to tons of books – I love to read!  I can even read it at night without a light!  It’s free, so there’s really no reason not to have it. 🙂  {Prime members get access to a library of free books, magazines, & audible books!}

I’ve used Audible on occasion and it’s a great way to “read” a book when you need to use your hands for something besides holding a book – like sewing!

This is one of my new favorite things!  Subscribe & save is great for those items you run out of on a regular basis – hello toilet paper!  You can set it up to the frequency you need & stop it when you don’t need it.  You’ll also get email reminders of upcoming shipments.  Great for things you buy every week & it’s delivered!

Another great way to get groceries delivered to your door!  I use this for things that may be hard to find in store – like 6 packs of Vitamin water.  Crazy, but they only have singles in my area!

~> Shopstyle Collective <~

I wish I’d known about this earlier!  It’s a great place to find home decor & wardrobe ideas from a collection of merchants around the web.  Check out my Shopstyle Collective Store for my favorite finds!

~> Cents of Style <~

Cents of Style is a mostly woman operated company.  Their motto is “when you look good, you feel good”.  You can read more about the company and their values here.  I was a customer long before I became an affiliate.  I love their message and their products!  They have different sales through out the week:

Think this is an affiliate for you?  Click here!

~>~> Referral Links <~<~

These links aren’t for affiliates.  They are companies I use that offer credits for referrals.  For example, if you click on the Sightbox link, sign up, and make a purchase, I get a credit for referring you.  The great thing is, you can refer people and earn credits after you sign up too!

Sightbox – If you wear contacts, you need to have Sightbox!  I love this service!  They will call to make an appointment for you, pay for it, & ship you the contacts you need.  All for just $39 a month!!!

Girl Charlee Fabrics

The best selection of knits, at great prices, that I have found!  They also have a monthly Knit Fix bag – a cute tote full of fun knits at a great price!  They are showing a “KnitFix 2.0” coming early this year.  Can’t wait to see what’s new!

Seamwork – I love Seamwork! If you like to sew clothing patterns, this is a great place to start. You get credits every month to use towards patterns, bonus variations, ideas & techniques, & fabric & pattern deals. New patterns are added every month, so I always feel like I get way more than I’m paying for!
