Welcome to the first Scrappy Ber-Along! I’ll be sharing projects and patterns to help you use up fabric and yarn scraps. Plus you’ll have some gifts for upcoming holidays or birthdays or just because. Each month I’ll focus on a different area like kitchen, bath, etc. Check below for more details!

That’s all you have to do to join in! You can also just participate without sharing if you like. This is just a fun make along to help use up scraps and make some smaller projects. Previous posts for this challenge:
October – Bathroom
Each month I’m going to share at least one crochet project and one sewing project that fits the theme for the month. Sometimes you will see new projects added for the month and I will send out an updated link if I add another project. For October, I’m focusing on the bathroom, but the sewing project this month could be used for any room. It also makes a great gifting container!
Crochet
I shared a crocheted face cloth pattern in 2018 and then added a crocheted washcloth and soap sack to match in 2020. Add the mineral soak & soap and you have a wonderful spa gift! Check below the images for a video on how to do the puff stitch.
Sewing
In April 2018 I did a Pinterest Challenge post where you find a Pin and make a project inspired by the Pin. This is how I got started making rope baskets! Then in July 2018 I took it a little further and decided to dye the rope first. Both posts are listed below and this is a great project to use up fabric and yarn scraps. I will have a video coming up before the end of the month!
As mentioned above, there will be a video coming out on sewing rope bowls later in the month!
