September Favorites ~ Sunrises, Fall Scents, & AC!

It’s Friday y’all & it’s time for my September favorites post! These posts are just about the things I’m loving right now & make my day a little better. It’s always good to look around for the positives in life, so we don’t get caught up in the negatives. Let’s take a look at what’s putting a smile on my face this month! : )

Sunrises & Nature’s Surprises

We are so close to fall I can taste it! Even though here in South GA it’s still stinkin’ hot, the days are definitely getting shorter. If I time it just right, I can usually see an awesome sunrise when I walk my dog in the mornings. Of course I have to take pictures!

September Favorites -sunrises

As much as I don’t like traveling 45 minutes to work in the mornings, I do really like two parts of my commute. There’s a spot that has trees all along the road & they create a canopy over the road that makes it feel like your in a tree tunnel. Another spot has lots of trees too & two big hills in a row. I just let my vehicle coast down then hit the gas to get to the top of the next hill. It just makes me feel like I’m in the mountains! : D

My commute is all down country roads, so I never know what I might see. I have to stop & take a picture when I see something like this double rainbow…

It looks like it ends in the tree! The second one is harder to see in the picture, but if you look off to the right of the tree you can see it a bit.

Fall Smells….Mmmmm….

There are just certain things I can smell & instantly I’m in the middle of fall! I just received my set of fall scented cleaners from Grove Collaborative this month & this candle came with it. Y’all it is wonderful!!!

This is also the time that “pumpkin spice” everything comes out. Yes, I’m a fan of the pumpkin spice! I picked up this bag of pumpkin spice swirl bread the other day. I may or may not be eating some as I type this post! Also, I may or may not have fluffed out that bag so y’all couldn’t see how much I’ve eaten already…

It’s good with butter & coffee, that’s all I’m gonna say! : D

AC – Ahhhh

Even though I’ve heard many online friends in the North talking about how the weather has already started cooling, that is not the case in my neck of the woods. It’s still in the mid 90’s here & the humidity is suffocating! We probably won’t see any cooler weather until mid-October, if that.

That’s why I’m so very, very grateful for good ol’ AC {air conditioning}. I can at least stay inside & pretend fall is already here. Yay!

Well, I think that’s all I’ve got for today. I do want to say I’m thinking of those in the path of hurricane Florence & hoping everyone is safe & dry. Be safe everyone!
