Special post today! Dollar Tree is one of my affiliates on the blog & usually I’m scoping out their website for the latest yarn deals. I got an email about a promotion blog post for Hallmark cards sold in their stores. Did y’all know they sold Hallmark cards because I surely didn’t! I decided to sign up so I could check them out & share it with y’all. A card is a great way to make a special day even better, so let’s take a look!

All of these cards are designed especially for Dollar Tree & today’s they are celebrating 1 year of having these fabulous cards in their stores. You’re sure to find something you like in one of their over 6,800 stores nationwide. That’s a lot of opportunities to fill up your card collection! : )

Heartline a Hallmark Company

The Heartline cards are 2 for $1 in stores which is a bargain! I received 4 of these in my packet & they are all wonderful.

This cow card with the googly looking eyes made me laugh!

I’m hoping this is cow speak for “yoo-hoo” & not “boo-hoo”… : D

I really like the colors in this one & the embossed, shiny areas are a nice touch.

Such a nice sentiment!

How could you stay mad with such a cute card??

I think I might have to forgive someone if they gave me a card like that. : )

The colors on this one are so bright & fun!

These kinds of cards are great to keep around. You never know who might need their day brightened!

Expressions from Hallmark

Expressions cards are just $1 in store. There was only one of these in my packet, but I think it’s pretty great for $1!

This card is bright & fun! It has embossed features, shiny, metallic letters, & even some glitter!

Sounds right to me! My birthday is next month & I think birthdays should always be time for fun. : )

I really enjoyed the cards I received & I can’t wait to give them to someone special. You can check out the Dollar Tree website for more information & some fun ideas for displaying & recycling your cards. Check your local store for these other card lines sold at select stores ~>

5 Comments on Dollar Tree Greeting Card Anniversary

  1. I have loved sending/getting mail my entire life. Cards have gotten so expensive !!
Some are $5 or $6 or even more ! So 2 for $1. is fantastic. I refuse to pay $5 or $6 for a card. It’s just way too much. I tend to buy boxes of cards….or Hallmark also offers packets of cards in the stores…you can get 6 for $5 sometimes…so that’s a more economical way to go, too.

    • Me too! I’m always disappointed when there’s nothing fun in the mail, which is just silly, ha ha! Cards have gotten expensive, even for the simplest ones sometimes. I have made cards before, but I don’t really have the time right now. That can get expensive too because there’s so much fun stuff on the paper aisle! 😀

  2. I saw these at our Dollar Tree and thought they were a great deal. I have always enjoyed giving and getting cards in the mail. It means so much more than an email or message.

    • I need to check my Dollar Tree & see if they have them. Sending & receiving mail is fun & having a stock of cards would make it easier. 🙂

  3. Hi, ladies !
I always keep a card assortment on hand…..just this week I ordered 3 sets from Amazon. One is a set of 25 cards, hand made w/embellishments & they were a mere $13.99. That is only about 56 cents a card ! The most expensive set I ordered are 71 cents a card ! That makes cards economical & I have loved sending & getting mail my entire life. I just can’t see spending $4,5,6 or even $8 on a card !
