It’s past time for another favorites post, especially since the past 2 weeks have been extra crazy! I need to stop & remind myself of the good stuff! These posts are just about the things I’m loving right now & things that make my day a little better. It’s always good to look around for the positives in life, so we don’t get caught up in the negatives.

Online Postage

I opened an Etsy shop at the end of the year & I can print postage for those packages through Etsy. I’m finding that I’m sending out more packages other than for Etsy, so I decided to give Stamps.com a go. You get a 4 week free trial & a scale if you pay the $9.99 shipping fee. Today I used it to mail out my Fibre Share partner’s package to the UK!

It’s awesome to be able to print out my postage & put it right in my mail box. I live about 20 minutes from the post office, so this makes things much easier for me!

Happy Mail

Who doesn’t like happy mail?? I love sending it as well as receiving it! Remember when I said I mailed out my Fibre Share partners package today? Well I was very excited to see a package from my Fibre Share partner in the mailbox this afternoon!

Look at all the goodies & yarn!! As I said in the beginning, this has been a crazy two weeks & this was a welcome surprise in my mailbox. This was such a fun thing to participate in & I can’t wait to do it again!

Indie Dyed Yarn

There seems to be a little bit of a yarn theme in this month’s favorites! I decided to try out yarn clubs on Etsy this year & do reviews for them on my YouTube channel. I’m trying out a different one each month from a different Indie dyer. This month I tried out Teal Torch Knits Murder Mystery Club. The yarn colors are based on Miss Fischer’s Murder Mysteries this month & they are amazing!

It also looks like they are taking a break while they’re at Stitches West – so awesome! I’ll be looking through all the yarn clubs on Etsy again this weekend to decide which one to try out next month. My review of this yarn club is down below & you can check my channel for last month’s review. : )

This & That

Here’s just a few more things that made me smile this month…

Last month I had winter roses & this month I spotted azaleas blooming! We’ve already had pollen on the windshield, which is just too early for me!

I found a bag of York peppermint patties in the freezer after Christmas. They were supposed to be for stockings, but I forgot they were in the freezer! I’ve been enjoying them myself every now & then as a treat. 🙂

In case y’all didn’t know, I’ve put myself on a self-imposed craft buying ban until spring. I had to visit some craft stores this past week to make purchases for my Fibre Share partner, so I was really happy about that! 😀

I hope y’all have a great weekend!

  1. So many goodies, when you put forward the idea of a finish along and the first was to clear out a space. I found lots and lots of items and I know there are still way more in boxes. I was quite embarrassed about all those items fabric, thread, yarn. Anyway I put myself on a no purchase craft supplies this year (ei fabric, yarn and thread). Had to clarify as I have bought some bobbin minders. Its restricting, but also challenging to use what you have, not to mention the saving money as well. Good luck with your diet and I know I need lots of luck with mine. Take care.

    • I know how that feels! Whenever I do a clean up of my craft space I’m always a little overwhelmed with all the stuff I’ve accumulated. I’ve been doing okay on my diet although this past week was not so good! Mostly it was for making bags for my shop, so there’s that. 😀
