Timestamp 00:08:20 ~> Foot Talk

An update on what’s going on with my foot! The biopsy came back & shows an allergic reaction plus possible eczema. Time to see what I’m so allergic to – so much fun! : P

Timestamp 03:57:00 ~> Finished Objects

My only completely finished object is a shirt I made with Butterick pattern B5826, view D. I got the fabric & pattern as a bundle from Fabric Mart a while back for about $5 {after all discounts}. These kits are not always available, so keep a look out for them because they are a great deal! The fabric is a rayon challis print called “Flight” from the Momentum line by Heather Bailey for Free Spirit. I could not find it in the color I have, but here’s a link to the same print in different colors.

I did not manage to get to the second block of the Save the Bees BOM from Jacquelynne Steves. Hopefully I’ll get to it this weekend!

Timestamp 09:01:00 ~> Mega Maker Bags

I’m showing off some of my fabrics I’m preparing to dye, so I can make some project bags. The largest ones will be my mega maker bags & measure 15″ x 15″ x 6″ deep. They will come with either a draw string top or zipper top. You can see one I made previously in this post. I was calling it a “super mom bag” at the time, but it could really be used for all sorts of things. I’ve got plans for a maker bag, mini maker bag, & notions pouches. There will also be some charm square totes like the one in this post. I’m still deciding where I want to sell these & hope to have them ready by the end of September.

I showed off a bag I have in progress that’s made with a paisley, velvet upholstery fabric {thrifted}, a Tim Holtz print {Correspondence line} for the lining, & some leftover rusty orange coating. Look for the finished bag in my Instagram posts, hopefully by the end of the weekend! : )

Timestamp 26:51:00 ~> Craft Room Destash Challenge

This coming Monday it’s time for another Craft Room De-Stash Challenge with C’mon Get Crafty. This is a blog hop that challenges crafters to use up their stash. I’ll be making a quilt top to use up all the mini charm packs I’ve accumulated from the Mini Charm Pack Club with the Fat Quarter Shop. Be sure to check it out!

Timestamp 28:29:00 ~> Geeky Stitching Club

I joined a new club! It’s called the Geeky Stitching Club & it comes all the way from the United Kingdom. You get a hoop, thread, cross stitch fabric, patterns, & a little sweet treat each month. You also get free access to the PDF club, 15% discount on other orders throughout the year, stitchy points for more credits, & other bonus things. The cost is $14.36 {10.99 pounds} + shipping each month.

Timestamp 33:01:00 ~> Zippers

I ordered a bunch of zippers, plus some cute buttons, from ZipIt on Etsy. These are for all the new bags I plan on making! Here’s what I got:

I’m looking forward to using all these zippers! 🙂

Timestamp 37:58:00 ~> Velcro & Twill Tape

I found some 10 cent generic sew-on Velcro on clearance at Wal-Mart. We shall see how well it works! I also bought a bunch of cotton twill tape to use for bag tags & such. These are the two shops I bought from:

Timestamp 41:58:00 ~> Merry Christmas SAL

The 3rd ornament for the Merry Christmas Sew-Along 2018 posted this past Monday. I’m doing this SAL with Monique from Farm House Quilts & you can find out more about it by clicking here. Be sure to check it out, there will be prizes! : D

Timestamp 48:24:00 ~> Acquisitions

Lots of new fabric this month from Fabric Mart & Girl Charlee! The fabrics I purchased are not all still available, but I suggest you check out both sites for some great deals. Girl Charlee sells mainly knit fabrics, while Fabric Mart sells all sorts of fabrics. Just be careful, because those emails come daily & they are so tempting!! ; D

Please let me know if I left out something you were looking for!
