It has been so very hot here in South GA! I’m looking forward to some cooler weather, so I decided to make a snowflake mandala this month. Makes me cooler just looking at it! 😀

Since I had no white in the line up of yarns for this CAL, I went with cool blues. The large one looks extra icy!

As a reminder, the original pattern is written for sock weight yarn. I’m using Lion Brand Jeans yarn for the larger mandalas. This is a #4/worsted weight yarn and I’m using a 4.5mm/7 hook {corrected hook size!}. This month’s larger mandala was made with the color Faded. Each mandala uses between 1.6 and 2 grams of yarn. All the sock weight yarn is mini skeins from Southern Skeins from my previous club.

Check below for previous month’s patterns & check out my YouTube channel for the latest video.

Here’s a look at the mandalas together for the sock weight yarn. These will be joined into a free form scarf at the end of the CAL.

These are the worsted weight mandalas so far. These will be squared up and joined into an afgan at the end of the CAL.

Here are all the details about sharing and the printable pattern:

  • The printable PDF can be found right here. The printable PDF will be free until the end of the month each month, then it will move to Etsy for a small fee. The pattern will always be on the blog for everyone to use.
  • You can share your finished mandalas in the Teadoddles Makers Facebook group. Any CAL, QAL, or other make you do can be shared there. I pick someone each month to receive a $25 Amazon gift card. All you have to do is share your makes!
  • You can also tag me on Instagram with #teadoddles or share a picture in my community area on YouTube.
