I thought there would be no post today, but Dad has come to the rescue! He makes the best cheesy biscuits & he recorded a little video of him making them to help me out. I think that’s awesome! There’s not much else in this post, so I hope y’all enjoy. : )

Dad’s going to talk about me having some health issues in the video, so I’ll explain. I’ve had a rash on my foot for several months that I can’t get to go away. After I had a cold last week, it got even worse & my whole foot swelled up! I went to the doctor this morning & she wasn’t entirely sure what was going on. So, she did a swab & biopsy & put me on antibiotics & steroids for now. Anyway, I’ll be talking more about it in my podcast Saturday, so on to the biscuits!

Dad’s Cheesy Biscuits

These biscuits are so delicious! They are crunchy & crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I call them biscuit cookies because that’s a perfect cookie to me! I’ll list the ingredients below the video in case you want to try them out yourself this weekend. : )

Ingredients

1/2 cup self rising flour

shredded colby jack cheese {a handful as Dad says!}

1/3 stick melted butter

buttermilk {enough to make a paste with the flour}

Baker’s Joy

baking pan

Here’s some other recipes y’all might like to try out for the weekend:

Y’all have a wonderful Labor Day weekend if you’re in the US! Don’t forget to watch my newest podcast on Saturday. : D

  2. Kristie your Dad is amazing, loved the video. Im going to try his biscuits and see if mine look as good. Hope you feel better and they find the cause of your rash, take care dear friend. Thanks again to you and your Dad xx.

    • He is a wonderful dad! I hope you enjoy the biscuits. My rash is better & it’s apparently an allergic reaction to something. What that is, is yet to be determined. 🤔
